Eight-time NBA All-Star Dwight Howard hasn’t been able to find himself a gig in North America the past couple of seasons, and last year decided to sign in Tawain to continue his basketball career. Although he was sort of clowned for it in NBA circles, it appears that Howard has now decided to take his talents to the Philippines.

The former three-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year is signing with the Philippines Strong Group for the two-week Dubai International Basketball Championship in late January.
Strong Group has also brought in other former NBA players in the past who’ve been out of the league for some time, like Nick Young, Shabazz Muhammad, and Renaldo Balkman to represent the Philippines in the tournament.
