Smith Suspended:

Merritt Centennials forward Jacob Smith has been suspended one game

for his Illegal Check to the Head penalty on Vernon Vipers forward Owen Kim during Sunday's Vernon Vipers/Merritt Centennials game. Smith was given a five minute major and automatic game misconduct for his Illegal Check to the Head major.
