Overwatch 2 has announced its collaboration with the famous K-pop girl group LE SSERAFIM, which will bring a music video and an in-game event. Check out more details below.
LE SSERAFIM x OVERWATCH 2
Overwatch 2 is Blizzard Entertainment's free-to-play team-based action game. On October 18, 2023, the company revealed the game's first-ever in-game musical artist collaboration with K-pop sensation LE SSERAFIM.
LE SSERAFIM is a group of five members - KIM CHAEWON, HUH YUNJIN, SAKURA, HONG EUNCHAE, and KAZUHA - who are known for their dominating presence on stage and are one of the fastest-growing K-pop groups worldwide.
Walter Kong, General Manager for Overwatch, said:
We're extremely excited to be working with LE SSERAFIM for our game's first musical artist collaboration. Like the heroes of Overwatch, the LE SSERAFIM members are amazing as individuals, but unstoppable when they come together.
Overwatch 2 and LE SSERAFIM are working together on the music video for the group's next single, titled "Perfect Night," which will be released on October 26, 2023, at 9 PM PDT / October 27 at noon (GMT +8, Philippine Time).
Moreover, the creative project will feature a LE SSERAFIM-inspired custom game mode and exclusive in-game items, including Overwatch hero skins. Details there will be revealed on October 30, 2023, with content going live in-game on November 1, 2023.
Notably, LE SSERAFIM will make an appearance at BlizzCon 2023 on November 4 PDT (November 5, Philippine Time) to perform "Perfect Night" at the conclusion of the show.
