Allâh Azza wa Jalla berfirman:
فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَصْلِحُوا ذَاتَ بَيْنِكُمْ
Sebab itu bertaqwalah kepada Allâh dan perbaikilah hubungan diantara sesamamu. [al-Anfâl/8:1]
لَا خَيْرَ فِي كَثِيرٍ مِنْ نَجْوَاهُمْ إِلَّا مَنْ أَمَرَ بِصَدَقَةٍ أَوْ مَعْرُوفٍ أَوْ إِصْلَاحٍ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ
Tidak ada kebaikan pada kebanyakan bisikan-bisikan mereka kecuali bisikan-bisikan dari orang yang menyuruh (manusia) memberi sedekah, atau berbuat makruf atau mengadakan perdamaian diantara manusia. [an-Nisâ/4:114]
إِنْ طَائِفَتَانِ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ اقْتَتَلُوا فَأَصْلِحُوا بَيْنَهُمَا
Dan jika ada dua golongan dari orang-orang mukmin berperang maka damaikanlah antara keduanya. [al-Hujurât/49:9]
إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌ فَأَصْلِحُوا بَيْنَ أَخَوَيْكُمْ
Sesungguhnya orang-orang mukmin adalah saudara. [al-Hujurât/49:10]
