Tired of near misses by suburbanites in a rush, potholes, and otherwise congested roads? Come explore the beautiful, scenic, mysteriously undisturbed, scenic routes in NW Nashville on the smooth tourism-funded roads. We'll start in Germantown at Morgan Recreation Center (the park in front of the Flats at Taylor Place, 1515 5th Ave N) at 9:00 AM. Depending on how many people post, we may move the start to the Cumberland Greenway Trailhead near Metro Medical Supply in Metrocenter as there is more parking there. Recovery at any of the numerous restaurants within walking distance of the starting point, though I might suggest margaritas at Taco Cantina or a nice German beer at Von Elrod's. Just an FYI, without that rush hour traffic, Germantown is as close or closer to most of you Hendersonville residents than normal starting locations in White House or Gallatin.
