The European Championship is winding down, with the semifinal pairings already set up to take place in the coming days. We look away from that a bit to see what is happening on the transfer front. Here you go.

Chelsea is about to sign Renato Veiga.

After losing out to Arsenal on Ricardo Calafiori, Chelsea has agreed terms with FC Basel defender Renato Veiga, and the player is expected to join Chelsea this week.

Veiga is a versatile left-footed defender who could also play in the midfield. The Blues expect him to replace Ben Chilwell, who has struggled with fitness since joining the club, at left-back. A €15 million fee is thought to be enough to land the Portuguese defender from Basel.

The United are confident about the Fe Ligt deal.

Former Ajax and Juventus defender Mattijs De Ligt is expected to join Manchester United from Bayern Munich this summer.

Erik Ten Hag is determined to complete a move for De Ligt to replace the departing Rafael Varane. United has renewed Ten Hag's contract, allowing him to concentrate on the upcoming season and his new team.

Juventus places Chiesa on the transfer list.

Thiago Motta confirmed that Juventus and Italy winger Federico Chiesa are not in his plans, and he advised the player to seek greener pastures.

The Italian winger has suffered from injury and a form dip, raising doubts for Motta, who doesn't believe the player can deliver optimally as the Old Lady tries to recapture the league title after losing the last three to Inter Milan, AC Milan, and Napoli.

Kilman joins West Ham from Wolves

Julien Lopetegui’s reign as West Ham boss is well and truly underway with the signing of Wolves defender Max Kilman for a reported fee of £40 million.

Lopetegui worked with Kilman at Wolves while the Spaniard was in charge before Gary O’Neil was hired to replace him. It was a pleasure to have him, and the Hammers are now working on other deals as they hope to return the club to Europe.

Bobby De Cordova will make his debut at Leicester. -Reid

Leicester City has signed Jamaican internationals Bobby De Cordova-Reid and Caleb Okoli ahead of their return to the Premier League.

De Cordova-Reid left Fulham as a free agent at the end of the season and is now set to sign for the Foxes, while Caleb Okoli is set to join from Atalanta for a fee of €15 million. We expect to announce the two deals earlier in the week.
