Former Chelsea and Brighton manager Graham Potter is on the verge of joining newcomers Leicester City after talks advanced over the weekend.

After a stellar campaign in the Championship last season, the Foxes bid farewell to Enzo Maresca, prompting the 2016 champions to enter the market for a new man in the dugout. Talks are already in the final stages, with both parties discussing backroom staff.

Chelsea makes a bid for Samu Omorodion.

Chelsea is pursuing Athletico Madrid striker Samu Omorodion after he had a successful season last year away from his parent club.

The Spanish outfit immediately rejected the Blues' €40 million offer for the Nigerian. Chelsea will also consider Aston Villa striker John Duran, who had a great season coming off the bench for Unai Emery's side last campaign.

Man U is ready to make a bid for Joshua Zirkzee.

Manchester United has opened talks with the representatives of Dutch international Joshua Zirkzee, who is currently on Euro Championship duties.

Two weeks ago, AC Milan agreed to pay Zirkzee a fee of €40 million, but United thinks they can offer a better commission to entice the player to Old Trafford.

Villa will sell Douglas Luiz to Juventus.

Thiago Motta, the newly appointed Juventus manager, is confident about the signing of Douglas Luiz from Aston Villa this window.

Aston Villa appears to be prepared to lose the Brazilian midfielder and is already considering options to replace him. Juventus will have to wait till the end of the Copa America to have their man, as he is on duty in the all-American competition.
