Filipino MLBB player Kousei led his Cambodian team See You Soon to secure a slot in M5 Worlds after a 4-3 win against CFU Gaming in the MPL KH finals.
The MPL Cambodia Autumn Split 2023 Grand Finals were held at AEON Mall Sen Sok City, Phnom Penh, where See You Soon emerged as the victors against CFU Gaming.
With the win, champions See You Soon will receive the largest portion of the USD 16,000 from the total prize pool worth USD 40,000. They will also be representing their country in the M5 World Championship, which will be held in Manila, Philippines, in December 2023.
The all-Khmer team CFU Gaming was meant to make their M World Series debut after a tough best-of-seven (Bo7) match series, but See You Soon ultimately beat them.
See You Soon is bannered by Sovan "Raa" Chanmakara, Mon "RunTheKing" Phearun, Leng "SryImFelix" Kimhak, Poly "Trabot" Titrabot, and Filipino imports Michael "MP The King" Endino and Clarence Jay "Kusey" Camilo. The squad is coached by Vitou "CatGod" Chhim and Nim "Suki" Seyha.
On the other hand, defending champions Burn X Flash had to settle for third place this season after suffering a crushing loss to CFU Gaming in the final of the lower brackets.
