Echo Proud has made history by winning their second consecutive championship in the MDL Philippines Season 2.
The tournament was held entirely online, and ECHO Proud proved to be the dominant team, winning the best-of-five (Bo5) series against Omega Neos. With the win, the team claimed the coveted title and the largest share of the USD 20,000 prize pool.
ECHO Proud emerged as the grand champion of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Development League - Philippines (MDL-PH) Season 2, with a score of 3:1. Justine "Zaida" Palma was named the Grand Finals Most Valuable Player (FMVP), while Omega Neos and TNZ4 finished second and third, respectively.
ECHO Proud is bannered by Johnville "Outplayed" Villar, Santi "Santi Sucre" Noble, Aaren Maximos "Sindel" Palomo, Mark Justine "Zaida" Palma, Jankurt Russel "KurtTzy" Matira, and James "Jeymz" Gloria. Ronnel Jayson "Cjay" Espinoza is their coach.
The MDL-PH team had a great run even though Jaypee "Jaypee" Cruz wasn't there because he is currently playing for the MPL-PH team counterpart.
Roamer James "Jeymz" Gloria said:

Johnville "Outplayed" Villar said:
Yung pagiging captain material ni Jaypee yung nawala samin, kaya nag-adjust kami para magtulungan kaming lahat. Kinailangan namin magstep-up dahil nawala sya. [Jaypee's captain material is what we lost, so we adjusted so that we could all work together. We had to step up because of his absence.]
The team requested fans to support their MPL Philippines counterparts in the MPL-PH Season 12 Playoffs starting on October 25, 2023.

Meanwhile, first runner-up Omega Neos is comprised of Eric Joseph "Cyre" Mercader, Christian "West" Mangabay, Mark Glenn "Super Markkk" Florencio, Ron Matthew "Matt" Papag, Dan Nathaniel "Dan" Yambao, Ryan Michi "Rayl" Asaoka, and Luke Andrei "Luke" Redioca. The squad is headed by coach Patrick Tetro "Dhap" Palacio.
To recall, Echo Proud won the MDL PH Season 1 championship, defeating GameLab Alpha, 3-1, in the grand finals.
